Wages

The employee will be entitled to the minimum wage.


Warrant Of Execution / Warrant

A document issued by the court upon payment of a fee by the claimant against the defendant (only after judgment has been given) enabling the bailiff to seize the good belonging to the debtor to cover the judgment debt.


Will

Is a document signed by a Testator setting out whom he/she wishes to be the Executor, what gift/s he/she wishes to make and often is used to reduce Inheritance Tax. It has specific rules as to how it should be signed. Minor amendments can be made by Codicil.


Winding Up

Putting an end to a business. Winding up of a company may be voluntary or compulsory. Compulsory winding up is where a creditor may petition for a company to be wound up for failure to pay its debts. Voluntary winding is where members may decide to wind it up because the company is insolvent.


Workers

A broader category than employees covering most agency workers as well as employees.
